CDFI Fund Native American CDFI Assistance (NACA) Program
Treasury financial assistance grants to Native CDFIs that lend to Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian businesses.
About this program
The CDFI Fund's NACA Program awards financial and technical assistance to Native Community Development Financial Institutions that serve predominantly (at least 50%) Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian communities. Native CDFIs use these funds to provide low-interest loans, lines of credit, and equity investments to Native-owned small businesses and to build their own lending capacity. The Native Initiatives program has awarded more than $220 million to Native CDFIs to date.
Eligibility
Certified Native CDFIs or emerging Native CDFIs that serve predominantly Native communities. Native entrepreneurs access funding indirectly through certified Native CDFIs in their region.
Requirements
- For Native CDFIs: register with SAM.gov, apply through Grants.gov during open NOFA
