Matching facade grants for commercial property owners and tenants improving buildings in Warwick’s Apponaug Village.
About this program
The Apponaug Area Improvement Association and the City of Warwick Office of Housing and Community Development operate a facade improvement program for the Village of Apponaug. Commercial property owners and tenants are eligible for grants totaling 80 percent of renovation costs up to $10,000 to improve the business climate and stimulate private investment.
Eligibility
Commercial property owners and tenants with eligible facade renovation projects in Warwick’s Apponaug Village program area.
Requirements
- Confirm property eligibility in the Apponaug Village area
- Submit facade program application, project scope, contractor estimates, photos, and owner or tenant authorization
- Complete approved work and provide documentation for reimbursement
