About this program
NYC SBS provides M/WBE certification, capacity building, procurement support, and business assistance to help minority- and women-owned businesses compete for city contracting and growth opportunities.
Eligibility
New York City businesses, including Brooklyn firms, that are majority owned, operated, and controlled by eligible minority or women owners and meet certification requirements.
Requirements
- Apply for NYC M/WBE certification through SBS
- Submit ownership, control, business, tax, and operating documents
- Participate in capacity building or procurement support as needed
