Eligibility
South Carolina residents who developed a qualifying disability before the applicable ABLE age threshold may open an account and use savings for qualified disability expenses, including employment training and support related to work or self-employment.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a South Carolina resident with a qualifying disability onset before the ABLE eligibility age threshold.
- Open a Palmetto ABLE account through the program platform.
- Use account funds only for qualified disability expenses.
