About this program
Santa Fe voters approved a high-end real estate excise tax that directs revenue to the city’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund. The fund supports affordable housing activities and expands the city’s ability to finance projects that help residents remain in Santa Fe.
Eligibility
Affordable housing organizations, developers, city housing partners, and eligible projects funded through city housing trust fund priorities.
Requirements
- Project must meet Affordable Housing Trust Fund and New Mexico Affordable Housing Act rules
- Submit funding request through applicable city housing funding process
- Comply with affordability, eligible use, public approval, and reporting requirements
