About this program
The U.S. Small Business Administration opened a Business Recovery Center in Hilo to help businesses, private nonprofits, and residents affected by the Downtown Hilo Fire and related declared disasters. Assistance includes physical disaster loans and Economic Injury Disaster Loans for eligible businesses and private nonprofits.
Eligibility
Eligible small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, nurseries, and private nonprofits affected by declared Hilo or Hawaii County disasters.
Requirements
- Be located in an eligible disaster area
- Document physical damage or economic injury
- Apply through SBA disaster assistance and meet credit and repayment requirements
