The Economic Assistance Fund is a City of Groton economic development tool that can support eligible business development, investment, and commercial projects that strengthen the local tax base, create jobs, or improve commercial areas.

Businesses, developers, and commercial property owners with eligible economic development projects in the City of Groton.
Requirements
- Contact the City Economic Development Division before committing to the project
- Provide business plan or project description, investment amount, job impact, location, and requested assistance
- Receive City review and approval under applicable economic development guidelines
