About this program
The Tennessee Job Tax Credit provides franchise and excise tax credits to qualifying businesses that create a required number of new jobs and make qualifying investments in Tennessee.
Eligibility
Businesses creating qualifying new full-time jobs and making eligible capital investment in Kingsport or elsewhere in Tennessee.
Requirements
- Meet minimum job creation and investment thresholds
- File required Tennessee tax credit schedules and maintain records
- Comply with job maintenance and carryforward rules
