Cash-equivalent payroll withholding incentive for qualifying Kansas job-creation projects.
About this program
Promoting Employment Across Kansas, or PEAK, allows qualifying companies to retain or be reimbursed for up to 95 percent of state payroll withholding taxes for eligible new jobs. Overland Park companies may use PEAK as part of an expansion, relocation, or job-creation incentive package.
Eligibility
Businesses creating eligible new jobs in Kansas and meeting wage, benefit, and project requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through Kansas Department of Commerce before committing to the project
- Meet job creation, wage, and benefit thresholds
- Comply with withholding, reporting, and incentive agreement requirements
