About this program
USDA Rural Development’s Rural Energy for America Program helps rural small businesses and agricultural producers finance renewable energy systems and energy-efficiency improvements. Eligible agricultural producers and rural small businesses in the broader Annapolis region may use REAP grants or loan guarantees for solar, efficiency, refrigeration, and other qualified projects.

Requirements
- Meet USDA rural business or agricultural producer eligibility
- Submit energy audit or technical report where required
- Provide project budget, matching funds, and application documentation
