About this program
Rhode Island's State Small Business Credit Initiative uses federal funds to expand access to capital for small businesses through loan, collateral support, venture, and related financing tools administered with state and lending partners.
Eligibility
Eligible Rhode Island small businesses, startups, and borrowers, including Pawtucket businesses, applying through participating lenders or program partners and meeting SSBCI requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through CommerceRI, a participating lender, or approved program partner
- Provide business, ownership, financing, use-of-funds, and underwriting information
- Meet SSBCI eligibility, private capital, reporting, and compliance requirements
