The TWU StartHER Grant awards $5,000 to Texas women-owned startups under 5 years old. Young women entrepreneurs starting businesses in Texas can apply during the annual window (opens September 1, 2026).

Texas-based businesses at least 51% woman-owned, formed after 09/25/2020, with ≤5 employees. Accessible to young women entrepreneurs launching their first Texas business.
Requirements
- At least 51% woman-owned Texas business formed after 09/25/2020
- Five or fewer employees including owner
- Minimum $500 non-debt owner investment required
