About this program

The City of Racine administers HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to support affordable housing activities for low-income households. HOME funds may support rental or homeownership housing development, acquisition, rehabilitation, and related affordable housing work carried out by qualified developers, nonprofit housing organizations, and public partners.

Eligibility

Qualified nonprofit housing organizations, developers, public partners, and eligible housing providers with affordable housing projects serving low-income households in Racine may seek HOME funding when available.

Requirements

  • Project must serve eligible low-income households in Racine.
  • Applicant must be an eligible housing developer, nonprofit, public partner, or housing provider.
  • Project must meet HUD HOME eligible activity and affordability requirements.
