Farmer Veteran Coalition Fellowship Fund

Small grants of $1,000 to $5,000 for veteran farmers in their beginning years of farming or ranching.

About this program

The Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund provides direct assistance to veterans involved in agriculture by awarding small grants of $1,000 to $5,000 through third-party vendors for equipment and supplies that have the largest impact on moving farm or agriculture businesses forward. In 2026, FVC awarded over $464,000 to 122 farmer veterans across 43 states. Funded items include beekeeping equipment, fencing, livestock, tractor implements, walk-behind tractors, and other supplies. Major funding partners include Wounded Warrior Project, Kubota Tractor Corporation, Tractor Supply Foundation, and USDA. Veterans may also apply for Kubota's Geared to Give equipment donation program.
