California Underserved and Small Producers (CUSP) Direct Relief Program
Direct relief grants for small and socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers recovering from extreme weather (drought, flooding, heavy rain, wildfire, heat waves, severe windstorms, extreme cold) impacting California agriculture. Reimbursement grants typically $2,500-$20,000 for expenses incurred from 2017 onwards. Distributed through Direct Assistance Providers on a rolling basis through December 2026.
