MLS All-Star Hometown Heroes Grant
Annual $15,000 grants to community leaders in the MLS All-Star host city.
About this program
Presented by RBC Wealth Management in collaboration with Black Players for Change and the MLS All-Star host club, the Hometown Heroes program recognizes four community leaders each year whose organizations remove barriers to soccer participation, empower young people as future leaders, and sustain green spaces. Each MLS Hometown Hero receives a $15,000 grant for their respective organization, plus an Honorary Hero recognized for vision and commitment to youth soccer.
Eligibility
Nonprofit organizations led by community leaders in the MLS All-Star host city focused on youth empowerment, soccer access, or green-space preservation.
Requirements
- Be a 501(c)(3) operating in the MLS All-Star host market
- Be nominated by club partners or community stakeholders
- Demonstrate impact through innovative, resilient community service
