About this program
Reading uses HOME Investment Partnerships funds for eligible affordable housing activities including development, rehabilitation, homebuyer support, and preservation of affordable units. Funds are awarded through the city housing and community development planning process.
Eligibility
Affordable housing developers, nonprofit housing organizations, CHDOs, and eligible sponsors with qualifying Reading housing projects.
Requirements
- Apply through the city annual HOME funding process
- Provide site control, development plan, budget, financing stack, affordability commitments, and capacity documentation
- Meet HOME income, affordability, environmental review, reporting, and compliance requirements
