About this program
Albuquerque brownfields resources help evaluate and plan reuse for underused or potentially contaminated properties. Assessment and cleanup planning support can reduce redevelopment uncertainty for housing, commercial, community facility, and mixed-use projects.
Eligibility
Eligible public, nonprofit, or private property owners and redevelopment partners with qualifying Albuquerque brownfields sites.
Requirements
- Site must meet brownfields eligibility and property access requirements
- Provide site information, owner consent, reuse goals, and project context
- Comply with EPA assessment, reporting, environmental review, and public participation requirements
