Through the brownfield plan process, the City of Kalamazoo can help qualifying redevelopment projects access competitive Michigan EGLE grants and loans for contaminated soils and other eligible brownfield expenses.
Eligibility
Qualifying Kalamazoo brownfield redevelopment projects with eligible environmental needs and local brownfield support.
Requirements
- Coordinate with city brownfield staff
- Document environmental conditions, eligible costs, redevelopment plan, and community benefit
- Meet EGLE and local approval requirements
