The Rebuild Rhode Island Tax Credit helps close financing gaps for eligible real estate development projects that have significant economic impact. Providence developers and project sponsors may use the program for commercial, mixed-use, residential, and catalytic redevelopment projects.

Developers and project sponsors with eligible Rhode Island development projects demonstrating a financing gap, readiness, and economic impact.
Requirements
- Apply to Rhode Island Commerce before project commitment
- Provide development budget, financing gap, site control, pro forma, economic impact, and construction timeline
- Meet approval, compliance, reporting, and performance requirements
