About this program
The Appleton Redevelopment Authority Business Enhancement Grant Program encourages investments and improvements to commercial properties that are visible to the public within the City of Appleton. The program reimburses up to 50% of eligible exterior property improvement costs, with the goal of eliminating slum and blight, supporting commercial property reinvestment, and improving the appearance and functionality of business properties.
Eligibility
Commercial property owners and tenants with owner permission may apply for eligible exterior improvements to commercial buildings in the City of Appleton outside TIF District 11 and TIF District 12 boundaries.
Requirements
- Building must be located in the City of Appleton and outside TIF District 11 and TIF District 12 boundaries.
- Building must currently be used for or intended for commercial purposes.
- Applicant must be the property owner or a tenant with property owner permission.
