Santa Fe’s Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency guides redevelopment in designated Metropolitan Redevelopment Areas, currently focused on Midtown. MRA tools can include public-private partnerships, targeted infrastructure upgrades, incentive or fee relief, MRA bonds, and tax-increment mechanisms to deliver housing, jobs, culture, and community benefits.
Eligibility
Developers, businesses, nonprofits, public partners, and community-serving projects within designated Santa Fe Metropolitan Redevelopment Areas.
Requirements
- Project must be located in a designated MRA and align with adopted redevelopment plans
- Submit project plan, financing need, public benefits, eligible costs, and readiness information
- Receive MRA and city approvals and comply with agreement, performance, and reporting requirements
